Permanent recruitment — Dispatcher

You hire directly, on your own payroll. We find, check and present the candidates.

Sector : Warehousing and logistics · NOC 2021 14404

The job

A dispatcher assigns drivers and vehicles to deliveries, tracks routes in real time and reacts to the unexpected: breakdowns, traffic, an absent customer, a sick driver. In a transport company, they turn a list of orders into routes that can actually be driven.

Main tasks

The profile that succeeds

A good dispatcher has a mental map of the territory and remembers each customer's habits. They speak to drivers with respect, even in a rush, because a motivated fleet delivers better. They make quick decisions, write them down and inform the right people. They never push a driver past their permitted hours: compliance is part of the job, not an option.

Before you give us the mandate

Usual requirements

The role needs calm under pressure, good knowledge of the territory served, comfort with dispatch or fleet software and clear communication. Experience as a driver is often an advantage but not mandatory.
