Permanent recruitment — Production operator

You hire directly, on your own payroll. We find, check and present the candidates.

Sector : Manufacturing and production · NOC 2021 95109

The job

A production operator runs a line or workstation in a plant: feeding machines, visual checks, packing, simple adjustments and keeping the station clean. It is an entry role in many sectors (food, plastics, metal, paper), and the first one missing when a plant wants to add a shift.

Main tasks

The profile that succeeds

The operator a plant wants to keep is reliable first: they show up on time, respect lockout and report a quality problem instead of letting defective products through. They learn their line's settings quickly and accept job rotation. Many departures during probation come from poorly explained expectations; an honest job description at the interview improves retention.

Before you give us the mandate

Usual requirements

Requirements vary widely from plant to plant. Employers generally ask for reliability, the ability to work standing and on rotating shifts, strict adherence to safety rules and, in food plants, hygiene rules. Plant experience is an asset.
